ABOUT ME

I started learning music at age 8 but the influence of music started much earlier. I grew up singing along with Disney movies. Both of my parents were avid choir members. By their example I was taught the importance of how music is to be fun and shared with others. I continued my study of music throughout high school and college. As a member of marching band I learned percussion. My performance experience as a pianist includes recitals, solo instrument accompaniment, jazz ensembles, and church choirs. I have performed in ukulele duos and ensembles. I have been a pianist for 25 years.

PIANO LESSONS FOR CHILDREN

In order to maximize learning and fun I use creative teaching methods that will capture your child's attention. I teach music not only through books, but with games, improvisation, ear training and composition, too.

ADULT PIANO LESSONS

Adult piano students are very welcome. Whatever your individual goals are at the piano, I will work with you to plan the lessons you want.

Playing in recitals builds confidence. We provide our students with the opportunity to gain invaluable performance experience through seasonal recitals.
